{"id":1603,"date":"2022-01-24T16:05:00","date_gmt":"2022-01-24T16:05:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/clyachts.com\/?post_type=news&#038;p=1603"},"modified":"2024-12-10T17:29:08","modified_gmt":"2024-12-10T17:29:08","slug":"first-clx96-explorer-completes-sea-trials","status":"publish","type":"news","link":"https:\/\/clyachts.com\/zh-hans\/news\/first-clx96-explorer-completes-sea-trials\/","title":{"rendered":"FIRST CLX96 EXPLORER COMPLETES SEA TRIALS"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p style=\"font-size:25px\">The first 29.26 metre\u00a0CLX96\u00a0SAV explorer yacht by CL Yachts has successfully completed sea trials.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The explorer-style vessel, which first hit the water in Fort Lauderdale in December 2021, was able to reach a top speed of 25 knots at full load condition with weights simulating tender and owner\u2019s gear and power supplied by twin Caterpillar C32 engines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Described by the builder as a \u201cluxury performance SAV\u201d (Sea Activity Vessel), the CLX96 features a RINA-classified FRP composite hull and has a beam of 7.32 metres and draft of 1.62 metres.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Key features on board include a \u201csky deck\u201d with al fresco dining aft and an expansive beach club with a hydraulic, submerging swim platform.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Interiors and exteriors have been penned by Milan-based designer&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.boatinternational.com\/profiles\/jozeph-forakis--7696\">Jozeph Forakis<\/a>&nbsp;with \u201cmodern explorers\u201d in mind. The design has focused on maximising interior space, which includes accommodation for eight guests in four lower deck cabins, including a full beam owner\u2019s stateroom and VIP. The yacht is also equipped with two crew cabins while the interior includes a mix of \u201cclassical, luxurious and modern\u201d materials.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>CL Yachts\u2019 director, Martin Lo, said: \u201cOur captain reports that the boat handled well and was very responsive to the helm.
