The 29.5m yacht was able to reach a top speed between 24 to 25 knots at full load condition with weights simulating tender and owner\u2019s gear.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cOur captain reports that the boat handled well and was very responsive to the helm. Two thrusters at the bow and stern provided a much higher level of confidence when docking. We have ourselves a yacht that operates smoothly throughout her RPM range. Thanks to her stabilization options, including a Quick MC56 gyrostabilizer and Sidepower fins, she is very steady in a seaway as well,\u201d says Martin Lo, the company\u2019s director.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Her profile was drawn up by Milan-based designer Jozeph Forakis, who brought a fresh touch and a rebel\u2019s insight to the sketches.&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/yachtharbour.com\/news\/29-5m-clx96-launched-by-cl-yachts-5179\">CLX96<\/a>&nbsp;has already won the Good Design Award 2020, a Bronze A\u2019 Design Award 2021 as well as the prestigious award from the International Yacht &amp; Aviation Awards 2021. She can accommodate eight guests across four cabins.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cWe wanted a fresh approach to the norm, and we did that by allowing designer Jozeph Forakis the freedom to create something different and unique, while holding true to our core values of quality, innovation and uncompromising seaworthiness,\u201d continues&nbsp;Martin&nbsp;Lo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">CLX96 is currently out of the water for final fitting. More sea trials will be conducted prior to her Asia debut this spring in Hong Kong.
