In early 2017, CL Yachts reached outside the industry and asked forakis \u2026 design to rethink yacht design and yachting experiences. Looking to re-energize the yachting division, they boldly gave us a clean slate to conceive a new vision for the yacht of today and tomorrow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
For our first yacht commission, we approached the project with characteristic in-depth research and a focus on intelligent design \u2013 along with Jozeph\u2019s own passion for sailing and \u201coutsiders\u2019\u201d imagination and dreams. The result is a vessel that departs from convention.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Good design tells the story of the producer. The shipyard is a renowned builder of both commercial ships and luxury yachts \u2013 thus the inspiration for the \u2018workboat chic\u2019 concept: the idea to combine the enhanced seafaring capabilities of an explorer with the luxury and performance of a modern flybridge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The bold profile is visually distinctive but is born from a holistic reconsideration of onboard living and marine functionality and is informed by precise structural principles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Designed for close communion with nature, CLX96 pushes the boundaries of innovation with flowing indoor and outdoor spaces.
