Measuring 19.7 metres, CLB65 SUV completed its sea trials this summer and has recently arrived in Hong Kong. It will make its first appearance at a private premiere for selected clients and brokers at the shipyard, followed by the official debut at the Lantau Yacht Club Boat Show – Festa Nautica (6–8 November 2026) and the Hong Kong International Boat Show (3–6 December 2026).

Representing a more versatile and sportier evolution of the popular CLB65 platform, the new model replaces the flybridge with a single-level living environment and a flexible stern space. It marries the practicality of this SUV-style layout with the comfort, performance and build quality associated with the B-Series, packing a punch well above its size range. Designed with the owner-operator in mind, it offers the perfect balance between timeless elegance and functionality.

Performance and handling

The yacht is powered by either twin Caterpillar C18 (1,136 hp each) or Volvo Penta D13 (1,000 hp each) diesel engines. With the C18s, it reached an impressive top speed of 28 knots at half load during sea trials, with a cruising speed of 21 knots. Developed with naval architect Howard Apollonio and the structural engineering team at Gurit, CLB65 SUV has a resin-infused composite hull strategically reinforced with carbon fibre to reduce weight.

Optional features such as the hidden ZF JMS control system further enhance both manoeuvrability and ease of operation, and can be used on either wing for convenient docking. Onboard comfort is enhanced by the choice of electric fins or a gyro paired with active interceptors. In addition, owners may choose RINA Hull Construction Statement or CE Proof Category B certification.

Outdoor spaces

Designed with adventurous owners in mind, CLB65 SUV features a multipurpose area at the stern that transforms effortlessly between a command centre for fishing and diving, a beach club, or even a temporary stateroom, depending on the needs of its owners. A teak-laid bathing platform extends the living space to the water.

The Aft Lounge, with its sweeping views, offers a versatile setting for alfresco dining, a plush daybed and a bar with two stools. Forward, the Fore Lounge provides a quieter retreat, with generous sun pads and comfortable seating.

Main deck

The carefully considered layout of CLB65 SUV combines the aft deck, galley and salon on a single level, creating a huge entertainment space. The galley sits between the aft deck and salon, and the cleverly designed flip-up window and sliding door on the port side create a seamless transition between indoor and outdoor spaces, providing guests with uninterrupted views. An electric grill and two chic bar stools make this area ideal for relaxing at the bar or dining under the stars. The fully equipped galley delivers a premium cooking experience, benefiting once again from the connection between salon and aft deck. The cosy breakfast nook across from the galley is the ideal location for a morning coffee while soaking up the panoramic scenery.

Other standout areas include the spacious salon, an ideal relaxation space for guests. Its port-side window and openable rooftop let in a refreshing breeze, and it also features expansive windows and a pop-up, rotatable TV. Forward, the twin-seat helm station keeps the owner-operator at the heart of the action.

On board, the light-filled interiors by Supertomato Studio are both contemporary and inviting, evoking a sense of tranquility and a “home away from home” ambience through the use of refined furnishings, natural materials, coordinated décor and neutral tones. A highly flexible design, prospective owners are able to opt for either walnut or white oak finishes.

Accommodation

The elegantly styled accommodation is on the lower deck and makes the most of its generous 5.85-metre beam. The full-beam master stateroom is a true private sanctuary, with large hull-side windows on both sides, a king-size bed, walnut décor and meticulously curated textile finishes, plus an ensuite bathroom with double vanities and a generous shower.

Additional guests benefit from a VIP stateroom with a private ensuite bathroom and a skylight for ample natural light, and a flexible ensuite guest stateroom that can convert from twin beds to a single configuration if required. A utility room or crew cabin completes the layout.

Martin Lo, Director of CL Yachts, says: “CLB65 SUV builds on the success of the CLB65 and on our five generations of boat-building experience. As our first SUV yacht and our sportiest, most compact model to date, it is designed for year-round family adventures, with exciting outdoor spaces and calming indoor retreats. We are delighted to present it to the industry ahead of its Asian premiere”.

Technical specifications

• Hull Length : 19.70 m | Waterline: 17.03 m
• Beam: 5.85 m | Draft: 1.59 m (full load)
• Displacement: 47,760 kg (full load)
• Engines: Twin Caterpillar C18, 1,136 hp each, or twin Volvo Penta D13, 1,000 hp each
• Speed: 28 knots+ top, 21 knots cruise (half load)
• Capacities (approx.): fuel 4,000 l, water 950 l
• Accommodation: Cabins – 3 + 1 crew, Berths – 6 + 1 crew
• Classification: RINA Hull Construction Statement or CE Proof Category B
• Naval architecture: Howard Apollonio
• Interior: Supertomato Studio

["post-2680","news","type-news","status-publish","hentry
["GET
