Here is a look at the second hull in the CLB65 model to be launched by CL Yachts. This hull is being finished up and is expected to make its debut in Hong Kong.
Bare in mind that the class leader of this model made its debut in the United States at the Newport International Boat Show in September 2022. It is important that further attention is created for this model on the other side of the world. Construction of hull 2 is in the same resin-infused composite materials with areas of carbon fiber.
CL Yachts is manufacturing the CLB65 with a pair of Volvo Penta IPS 1050s (800 horse power) as standard. This set-up ensures a top-end speed of 27-knots with a cruising speed of 21-knots. Regardless of what the interior is, it will be of a modern aesthetic either finished out in Walnut or Hickory. The standard layout tends to call for a three-cabin arrangement below deck. CLB65 has multiple helm stations – one on the main deck and one on the flybridge so that owner-operators have a choice of staying protected or fully enjoying the marine environment. Additionally, two wing control stations to either side of the aft deck are incredibly helpful when getting in and out of marinas.
A nice feature on the CLB65 is the aft galley on the main deck, which is a first for CL Yachts. With a hinged door and flip-up glass, the main deck can be fully opened. It’s an exciting development that makes food service to the salon or the cockpit equally easy, and helps make CLB65 an excellent entertainment platform. As for outdoor entertainment spaces, the yacht has an expansive flybridge with everything needed for alfresco cruising, including multiple settees, a barbecue and wet bar at amidships, with a hardtop to provide shade for the whole proceeding. A foredeck lounge with a sunpad provides a further entertainment area, and one which will provide much welcome privacy when this vessel is med-moored. Once completed and delivered, look for the second hull making its debut in Hong Kong.
