First 27m CLB88 yacht launched by CL Yachts

Having been first revealed during the 2019 FLIBS, the 27.1-metre CLB88 yacht has been launched at CL Yacht’s production facility this week. The new flagship of the B series is the first motor yacht designed by Jozeph Forakis and is set to debut at FLIBS 2020.

As seen during the launch, the first CLB88 features a RINA- certified carbon fibre and resin performance hull engineered by Gurit. Inside, she is to accommodate up to eight guests in four en-suite staterooms and offer open-plan social spaces both inside and out. When travelling at her top speed, the new superyacht will be able to reach up to 25 knots.

“The exterior of CLB88 is designed to stimulate the collective memories and imagination of every yachting enthusiast,” says designer Forakis, who has work exhibited permanently at the Museum of Modern Art. “Her effortless beauty and balanced proportions are timeless, but her overall look is distinctly bold and contemporary. With the interior, pure sunlight and open, flowing spaces are the primary ingredients, giving the feeling of being connected to the water and air.”
