New CLX99 Unveiled By CL Yachts

With the debut of the CLX96, CL Yachts has expanded the base model even further with a slightly larger offering in the CLX99. The yacht is designed by the usual suspects, namely Jozeph Forakis of Forakis Design. The design offers a similar feel to the CLX96 – initially debuting in 2022- but with expanded interiors and exterior al-fresco spaces for guests.

Although the hull has not changed besides having the extra length, some tweaks were made to the overall Naval Architecture; certain materials, expansion of the beach club area is also a plus for the guest experience. The main deck benefits from an extra 2-meters over the CLX96 in the same area. Below deck there are five cabins for the owner and guests. The five-cabin layout showcases a full-beam master suite along with two VIP-grade cabins as well as two doubles/twins depending on how they are configured.

An additional feature to be added to the CLX99 that did not exist on the CLX96 is the aft deck fold-down bulwarks which form sea terraces on the water when deployed. This adds a bit more space on the transom-beach area than was there on the predecessor model. The aft deck built-ins and furniture arrangement is also different as presented in the current renders. Naturally CL Yachts will permit some customization in these facets of the build.

On the CLX96 where the circular social zone on the bow is located has been given the option to have a jacuzzi while retaining an opposing built-in al-fresco dining option. With the jacuzzi in place, owners can have layout layout cushions on either side. The forward upper deck ahead of the bridge also benefits from more sunlounging space.

“The hull is the same great hull as CLX96, with its excellent design ensuring performance, stability, handling, and sea-worthiness, but the beach area has been extended and the new yacht reaches an overall length of 30.5-meters”, said Martin Lo, Director of CL Yachts. With 10 guests being accommodated onboard there is also space for up to 5 crew members. The hull windows have benefitted from a refresh as well offering a more streamlined appearance.
